Reflections by Father Pax

I don't like to preach. So I don't like to use the word "sermon". I prefer to think of it as sharing my "reflections" on my esoteric knowledge and universal truths. I am only a receiver of knowledge and a messenger of these truths.

Shooting Star

Welcome to Hopeshine!

My friends it is here at last! Finally, a path of faith which does NOT exclude, separate, invalidate, dominate, breed hate or create dissent between us and our fellow human beings. Spirituality and religion in particular can be a rather sensitive, deeply personal and oftentimes attacked areas that leave many of us feeling either reluctant to discuss or open up about or we just simply flat out avoid it entirely. This current and ongoing personal project of mine is the culmination of (at least thus far) of my own personal spiritual journey. For as far back as I can remember religion and spirituality have played a major role in the more interpersonal aspects of myself and how I choose to live and interact with others in this life. I call it a journey because it has been a journey of exploration, in search of the right answers to all these unanswered questions or voids that remain that no singular or mix up of current religious or spiritual beliefs have been able to answer or fill. I have dedicated a large part of myself to that exploration in search of those answers in an effort to fill those voids. At this point I have close to two decades worth of knowledge and in depth personal experience with a multitude of different religions and spiritual concepts gained through theological, mythical, historical, and mystical studies. And I have gained a lot of personal insight through full immersion not only within those subjects themselves, but the personal practice of various religions as well, and Hopeshine Church of Polyspiritualism © is the culmination of all this. Hopeshine Church of Polyspiritualism © is a place for those of us who do not or have not ascribed to any particular "faith" for a multitude of various reasons that may or may not have anything to do with a lack of faith or belief in something "beyond" ourselves and the material world in which we inhabit, but who are open to possibilities. Many of us do hold the idea that there is some kind of driving force or higher power above or beyond working or existing beyond ourselves. This is a place for those of us who quest for a greater understanding and further knowledge both within and outside of ourselves. For those of us who have always felt that there is something "more" there, something pulling from within our souls that connects us, connects everything. That great, elusive beat or pulse of each other, of the earth, the heavens and the universe itself. Many of us refer to ourselves as "spiritual" rather than "religious" individuals because there hasn't been a particular or singular religion that encompasses or in many cases even considers all that we feel, hope, or believe, not to mention all of the unanswered questions, inadequate answers, and rigidity that seems to try to just shove everything into an unyielding little box that leaves no room for individual or higher thought or growth. Hopeshine Church of Polyspiritualism © isn't a box, it's a living, growing, ever changing forest filled with trees of any and every kind you could ever imagine, and each of these trees filled with all kinds of leaves and fruits just waiting to be explored and tasted. Because if Eve really did pluck a fruit from the tree of forbidden knowledge and eat from it, then that tree would have come from this forest and why should any knowledge be forbidden?! The main difference between being spiritual vs religious is that spirituality is something that is more personal and individually experienced or practiced by one's self. Whereas religion (churches in particular) bring those individuals together to experience or practice their beliefs. Spirituality is also much more open to interpretation, fluid, there may or may not be any particular set of rules or guidelines. This may be seen as either a pro or a con to some people depending on their personalities or sentiments. Personally, I have always found that the complete lack of rules and/or guidelines (not to mention the severe struggles I've had with self discipline) makes it a lot more difficult to achieve and maintain that personal sense of spiritual enlightenment and bliss. Hopeshine Church of Polyspiritualism © is the solution to that particular dilemma. The brand itself Polyspiritualism © is a brand new word, title, identifier of an entirely new conceptual idea that stems from both spirituality and religion. It is a blending, a merging of the two. I termed the word Polyspiritualism © myself (hence the © copyright symbol at the end of each use) because there just was no other word or term that fit exactly right for what I wanted to express and create here. I am currently in the middle of the writing process where I go into much further detail, but for the sake of brevity here basically I just took the term polyspiritual and slapped an "ism" (a distinctive practice, system, or philosophy, as defined by Miriam Webster) at the end of it and there you have it. It's a spiritualistic religion that takes from a multitude of different areas. Polyspiritual is not technically a word but is generally known and can be found in the urban dictionary It is defined as "believing and following the ideas and/or practices of multiple religions and/or spiritual beliefs." This definition was close to what I was wanting to express but not quite entirely. Trying to decide which religions or particular beliefs to grab onto and include and which ones to throw away just became far too overwhelming, complicated and confusing. There was also the added discomfort of trying to fit things into more boxes. Plus, I didn't like the idea of limiting or excluding myself or others. I wanted something that could feel natural and comfortable for everybody, regardless of previous religious or spiritual affiliations. Instead of trying to stuff myself or anybody else into boxes I wanted something was more custom tailored. And thus POLYSPIRITUALISM was born. Polyspiritualism © Is a modern religion founded in the early 21st century by the Reverend Father Paxton James Chance . It is a polyspiritual approach to devotion and worship based on the concept that all gods/deities are all valid because they are all variations/extensions of the SAME power. Making polyspiritualism unique in that it is both monotheistic (believing in one god) and polytheistic (believing in multiple gods). The only other religion that shares this unique quality is Hinduism. The basis of polyspiritualism is the idea that there is ONE higher power with which many other powers stem from, including OURSELVES, our own souls. It is the idea that all living things are but smaller extensions of the ONE and therefore our ultimate goal is the REUNIFICATION OF SOULS. This is the polyspiritualists idea of ultimate peace, enlightenment, heaven... eutopia. The closer you are to others the closer you are to HIM, and the closer we all are to that final eutopia. The Catholics believe in something called THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS (communio sanctorum) which is the idea that there is a spiritual union that exists with both the living and the dead members of the Church and that they are all part of a single "mystical body" with Christ as the head, in which each member contributes to the good of all and shares in the welfare of all (wikipedia). It is from these sentiments that the idea of THE COMMUNION OF SOULS comes from. The idea that we each carry a light within ourselves that's a little piece of that ultimate or divine original source, some of us shine more than others and some of us shine a little less, but the more we come together in love the more we grow that light and the closer to divinity through understanding we become. Hopeshine Church of Polyspiritualism © is not an entirely new or unique take on spirituality, it is however, a new and unique way of merging spiritualistic and religious principles and ideals in a communicable way that we can share, explore, learn, guide, and grow together in a completely accepting environment free from judgement. A safe space where we can all feel free to shine as our brightest selves free from prejudice and fear of social persecution for your beliefs. A place where people truly do onto others, do as they will so long as they harm no one, and share both the beauty that is both the joy and the pain of this journey that we call life. We are ever changing, as is everything else. Rigidity in religion is the number cause of all the dissent and discontent within its practitioners. We need something that is more fluid that is able to move and evolve and grow just as we all do, while still managing to maintain a basic set of core principles that are as endless and ageless as the human spirit itself. If any of this sounds appealing to you please join me and share this message with others. “Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.” Buddha ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Revelations: A Polyspiritual Perspective

Polyspiritualism takes a polyspiritiualistic approach not just to worship but to fill that spiritual gap within ourselves and between each other. the basis of Polyspiritualism is the idea that there is One higher power with which many other powers stem from, including ourselves. Making it the worlds second religion that is both mono and poly theistic, because while Polyspiritualism includes many (poly)gods/deities, they believe that all gods/deities are just extensions of the One. The beginnings of Polyspiritualism are rooted in a mash-up/marriage between Eastern and Western philosophy and spiritualism. The idea that we are all, all living things, are but smaller extensions of the One, and therefore the only true path to UNIFICATION (main end goal) is through not just accepting of God or Christ into our hearts, but also acceptance of all living things as part of Him. The closer you are to others, the closer you are to Him. And the closer we all are to FINAL EUTOPIA (Heaven/Peace). Polyspiritualists do believe in both transmigration of the soul and rebirth/reincarnation of the soul. Believing that a soul must journey through many lifetimes in order to learn, grow, and teach and the ultimate achievement is TOTAL ENLIGHTENMENT (complete understanding). The more spiritually awakened a person is can gauge just how far along that particular soul is towards their attainment of Final Eutopia in their own personal Heaven. When finally meeting Him in heaven for the long awaited rest/peace,they are given a choice as to whether they want to stay or to be reborn and return. Depending on a soul’s advancement and a person’s KARMIC DEBT, they may or may not be given a choice in the matter as to how they will return. Because of this, bringing enlightenment to others, drawing or teaching other’s of the truth is a very important principle in Polyspiritualism. However, it is just as important to respect people’s rights to free will. FREEDOM OF CHOICE is critical and and disrespecting this, taking away another person’s freedom of choice, particularly in regards to personal/spiritual beliefs is considered to be not only a sin, but blasphemous against the entire concept of Polyspiritualism itself. Taking away another’s free will is entirely counter intuitive of everything that the religion seeks to uphold. You cannot threaten, force, coerce, manipulate, or bribe another onto the path as it must be their choice based off of their own understanding and acceptance of the truth. For we may each be part of the same spark or breath of heavenly universal light, all paths will eventually lead to the same place, but we are all still finding our own unique paths, in different levels or stages of advancement. This is called THE TRANSCENDENTAL PATH. The Polyspiritualists main purpose on earth is to explore, to learn, to guide, and to advance through the attainment of spiritual knowledge or DIVINE TRUTH. For those with less Karmic Debt who are further along in their spiritual advancement, these individuals are generally a brighter, more visible and charismatic light to others that others are drawn to, much like moths to a flame. These are people that others want to be around, there is a sort of comfort and peace that others may feel in their presence, for they themselves are the most at peace within themselves. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

A Conversation With The Rev on the Birth of Polyspiritualism

REV. Well it's a pretty basic, yet complicated idea, at least complicated in it's execution, but the basic idea is that it will be taking the best parts from all major and even minor religions and sort of meshing them together. Hinduism is the only religion that is both mono and poly theistic, meaning that they only believe in one god, but they also believe in many gods. Sounds confusing but basically, god is god and bc he's god he can be an infinite number of people. They believe that all major "prophets" over the centuries were all incarnations of god, from Buddha, to Krishna, to Muhammad, to Christ himself. And that idea has always appealed to me because it includes everyone, and it legitimizes all beliefs. At least in my weird head it does. So bottom line is just that I want a place where everyone is welcome and free to express, discuss, worship, praise, by whatever name, in whatever way. Considering religion is historically the number leading cause of wars and genocide's though, my hopes aren't too high in being that successful. But if I can at least the message out there, you know... we don't have to hate each other just because we call our gods or higher powers different names or believe in different spiritual paths. MR. J: I think it speaks volumes about how powerful your message is as well - that no matter your religious preference, there's a safe space where you can openly and freely practice whatever you like without consequence of judgement or aggression. I'm completely on board I'm not religious - I don't believe in a God, but I don't dismiss the possibility of there being one. But I've always thought people should be allowed to expressly indulge in their religion of choice without fear or neglect. REV: Exactly! I do believe that there are higher workings out there in the universe, be that a higher power, powers that be, or even just "destiny" for whatever reason. I'm going to be offering services that are openly religious based, things like Handfasting rituals for your Wiccan's and Satanists, to the most strictest traditional Catholic rituals offered for those individuals whose own church won't recognize or own them because of their sexual orientations or gender identities aren't excepted or acknowledged in the religion of their upbringing or choice. But for the actual mission, or message itself, I'm hoping that I'll be able to build an entirely open platform that doesn't specifically cater to or lean towards any particular religion. I don't know if that's going to be possible yet or not but I'm not building this off or around the stiff belief of a higher power or powers... it's the message itself, not the a god or gods that's important. I need that emphasis to be more on the message and the values I hope to impart - acceptance, compassion, selflessness, sacrifie and love. Things like that. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Beyond Belief: Why Polyspiritualism Is More Than Just Another Religion

Polyspiritualism is a distinct religion that embraces the idea that all paths to spirituality and enlightenment should be respected. However, it's also important to note that being a polyspiritualist doesn't necessarily require one to be knowledgeable of or practice all religions. Our emphasis is on being respectful and acknowledging the validity of other spiritual paths or religions. Being respectful and accepting of others and their own personal spiritual journies in this life. In this way it is a belief system that celebrates diversity and does encourage people to seek out and explore to find their own unique spiritual path. We strongly believe in the importance of diversity, individuality, and personal growth. These values are integral to creating a thriving community where everyone is empowered to reach their full potential. By embracing the polyspiritual perspectives and celebrating our unique qualities, we can create a more inclusive and welcoming world for all. However, it is important to note that while polyspiritualism values all paths towards spiritual fulfillment, polyspiritualism itself, is it's own religion with it's own set system and beliefs. While polyspiritualism celebrates diversity and individuality, it also has its own set of basic beliefs and unique views that all polyspiritualists adhere to. These beliefs are centered around the fundamental belief that we are all interconnected through a divine light within us, often referred to as a Divine energy, that Divine energy being of the Universe itself, of God. We all originate from this same source, our souls are united as one in this sense, and this divine energy connects us all. Because of this belief, Polyspiritualism emphasizes the importance of personal growth, self-reflection, and the interconnectedness of all things. In this sense, our individual lights, our souls, are all certainly connected and have a shared history. It's fascinating to think about the universal, divine memory that we all possess, which drives us towards a desire for complete unity and reconnection. It's a beautiful concept that promotes empathy and understanding among all of us. The first two laws of thermodynamics also plays a large role in the building blocks of the Polyspirituals belief system. The First Law states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, and looking at this through the polyspiritual perspective where energy is life, light and soul, then that logically promotes the belief that we have always been and always will be. The second law of thermodynamics explains that the entropy of the universe increases during a spontaneous process. Entropy is a measure of disorder or randomness within a system, which tends to increase because there are more ways to arrange particles in a disordered state than in an ordered state. Therefore, spontaneous processes tend to move towards states with higher entropy because such states are more probable. The universe encompasses both the disorder of the system and the disorder of the surroundings. Hence, for a spontaneous process to occur, where the system becomes more ordered, the increase in entropy in the surroundings must be greater. It is important to note that a polyspiritualist holds the belief that the spontaneous processes are natural and planned occurrences that take place due to the influence of both internal and external energies. These energies are a part of God's Plan, or the Universal Design, whichever you prefer. I don't have any doctorates or degrees in advanced fields such as electromagnetism, relativity, thermodynamics, acoustics, quantum physics, or mechanics. However, there are many people who are more knowledgeable and experienced in these areas than I am. They could explain how these concepts can help you better understand the mysteries of the universe. You will find that the universe is not as mysterious as it seems. But then again, perhaps we as human beings are thinking too hard at overanalyzing and confusing ourselves with advanced doctrines and scientific theories. Maybe we should simplify things instead. The bottom line is that we, as part of the universe, have always existed and always will. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, but it constantly changes form and shape. The universe expands, evolves, separates, and comes together. According to the Hindu perspective, reincarnation is not only for our souls but for the universe itself, which goes through cycles of birth, death, and rebirth. From a Polyspiritualistic standpoint, this is not death but a transformation of form, a shift or evolution of energy. Therefore, our souls are not only intimately connected but also eternal and eternally connected. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

The Universal Knowledge of Polyspiritualism

There are different levels of understanding, of enlightenment. This is what determines an old vs a new soul, is one’s level of understanding of the HOLY TRUTH or the TRUE PATH. Just as we are born small and our physical bodies and minds grow and develop as we age, so too do our souls as they cycle through the stages of birth, death, and rebirth. And just as we are all born, all die, and all reborn again, so too does the universe itself. Because energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but only changes its form the Universe and everything in it is always cycling, ever changing and rearranging. The more spiritual knowledge you gain, the more truth you come to understand, the closer you are to the SOURCE and the purer and more powerful your own energy becomes. We are all each of us all at different points, stages in our own spiritual journeys. We each of us have different levels of understanding and enlightenment. There are those of who have reached the APEX OF OUR UNDERSTANDING many many times before now, through many many cycles who might have chosen to come back into the cycling. Either to begin again at the start of a new path and the excitement of new experiences and rediscovery, as new souls, as LEARNERS. Or we are born again retaining our DIVINE KNOWLEDGE as old souls, to be TEACHERS. Love is the basic driving force behind Polyspiritualism. The ultimate goal is the UNIVERSAL REUNIFICATION of all souls. As we all were once one and piece by piece separated and scattered about the universe, there are those who might contend that the ultimate goal would be for every piece, universally to be joined back together as One once more. It goes way beyond, and yet at the same time is exactly the same aspiration or hope of any devout, religious individual to reach their Heaven, their Nirvana. To finally be awarded complete understanding, to have peace and rest, and to be reunited, at last, with one’s God. What sets the Polyspiritualist view apart from all the rest is the very basic truth that we are all welcome for all Gods are the same God, and all souls come from God, are a part of Him, and so in the end, we will all be brought back together again as One with Him. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Why I Chose to Create a New Religion

Plenty of people are spiritual We're all spiritual if you want to get technical, just some people are more open to it then others I don't want you to discount or discriminate against my thoughts and my ideas just because it comes with the title of a "religion" Because that goes against the whole purpose of what I'm trying to achieve here It isn't me that needs support here, it's my ideas that I want supported Talked about Thought about Passed on Because there is so much hate and distrust and just bad, yucky feelings associated with religion and religious people. There are so many wars fought and genocides raged... all in the name of religion and whose God is the rightful God, which people are God's chosen people, and only "our own" are worthy to live. This isn't something that is meant to be forced on anybody. Ever. There will be no coercion. No threats of hellfire or even worse, a blind, absent God who lets bad things happen for no reason yet forgives the worst of all sinners simply for "believing in Him." No. That's not this church. This movement is entirely about seeing the discontent, feeling the holes still left inside or the bad taste like burnt ash on your tongue that are the reasons exactly why so many, many people aren't just not religious, but entirely anti-religion. The whole purpose behind Polyspiritiualism is to seek and to find the TRUTH, and the real path that leads us to peace within ourselves, each other, and the powers that be. By asking the right questions. Debating the options, weighing the options, thinking outside of the box, and then coming up with answers to those questions that benefit and befit all human souls, not just those we want to be the same or demand be the same. Something that fits everybody and doesn't disclude or discount or damage anybody else. And if it isn't somebody's cup of tea, we're not going to try to shove it down their throats or hate on them or show them the door. We're not going to think ourselves better or worse than anybody else because of our religious beliefs vs their religions beliefs. This has absolutely nothing to do with righteousness condemnation and everything to do with just being free and allowing others to be free in a non judgmental and accepting, peaceable way as long as it isn't hurting anybody. The door will always be open, and people are free to come check it out, pass it right by, or leave at any time. And this is why I implore people to ask questions. I'm not pretending to have all of the answers, I don't believe that anybody truly, one hundred percent has all of the answers to every question aside from God or the powers that be themselves. And we're not meant to know. That's where everybody else gets it so wrong! We aren't born knowing everything there is to know in the whole world. Like we don't pop out of our mothers and then go off get a job, buy a house and start a business and a family and be good people automatically out of the gate. No. We have to grow as we learn, and we learn by accepting the idea that we don't' already know it all and so we trust others, we trust our parents, our teachers, our friends, our society to teach us, to mold us, to grow and develop ourselves. The path to God isn't in being all knowing or having all of the answers. The path to God is just that, a path. And one that can be ever changing and evolving as we make our way. And we can choose to stay on that straight path (devoting oneself to a single, traditional religion with limitations) or we can choose to branch off and try different lanes (Polyspiritualism) to see what there is to see and to learn. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

The Role of Jesus Christ in Polyspiritualism

images.jpg

Here at Hopeshine Church, we don’t believe that we are all “children of God” as most other religions or spiritual scriptures attest to, but rather, we believe that we are all, each of us, small, earthly manifestations of the Divine ourselves. Since our souls are but smaller pieces of a greater whole, and that greater whole being the Great Universal Divine Light, what many would call God, Himself, the logical inference or conclusion to be drawn from that fact would be that we, ourselves, are part of God. Please, be clear that polyspirtualism in no way is claiming that we are our own gods, not in the least, only that we are all part of Him. Similar to how Eve was part of Adam, made from his rib. She would not claim that she was Adam, only that she was a part of him. We do not claim that we are The Divine, only that we are part of It. Now given that most of us here as polyspiritualists do not have a tendency to believe or strictly follow other more main stream religions, many of us are coming here not out of complete anti-religious sentiments, or because we found or saw absolutely zero validity in other practices or belief systems. In fact, many of us still find much comfort and value in some of the more traditional rituals and mythology. Just as Hinduism values and believes in what they refer to as the “Seven avatars of God”, so too, do polyspiritualists. I was always drawn to Hinduism mostly because I was in love with the idea that there was no hate, disrespect, or disownment of other figure heads from other major religions. Jesus as well as Buddha, were both equally validated as important spiritual figures, in the case of Hinduism, they were believed to be material manifestations of God Himself, here on earth, the soul of the Lord reborn into the body of a man (what the Hindu’s refer to as “Avatars”). This is what makes Hinduism, and now Polyspiritualism as well, so unique. Hinduism, and now Polyspiritualism, are the only two religions that are considered to be both monotheistic (believing in only one God) and polytheistic (believing in many gods). Because while there may be many gods, they are also all still coming from the same God, or Source, as we would say in Polyspiritualism. I was always in love with this idea because having been raised strictly Christian for most of my childhood, even entertaining the idea that another religions figure head or God was valid in any way was the ultimate of blasphemy, and I believe that it is such strong held beliefs like that which are responsible for the birth and breeding of so much fear and hate within the human race. What makes it worse is that it is the ultimate excuse, the ultimate justification… if you have the word or truth of the utmost highest authority, God, to back you up. While there are many different classifications and types of avatars, and depending on which branch of Hinduism, much like which denomination of Christianity you look at, the only thing that can be almost universally agreed on, is that Jesus Christ was an important figure. Whether he was the son of God, a Shaktavesha Avatar, an empowered incarnation, a Saint, a prophet, God Himself, or just a mortal man, his story and contribution to the spiritual beliefs and practices have inspired a multitude of different religious beliefs, rituals, and practices, and not just limited to Christianity either. We ask how we can see spirituality in Hindus, the answer comes: by behaviour and practice. We can ask are we humble, are we tolerant and are we non-violent? Can we control our senses and our mind? Are we aware of others' suffering and are we willing to give up our comfort to help them? Looking at these criteria Jesus measures up as a Sadhu, a holy man. He preached a universal message, love of God and love of brother, which was beyond any sectarianism or selfishness. Jesus was one of those people who appealed from heart to heart, and that's what makes him such a good Hindu Saint (DasLas 2009). Regardless of what or who you might have been raised to believe Jesus was, or whether or not you ever did or did not believe in him, here at Hopeshine we feel that including both him and his story into our minds, hearts, and practices is very much worthwhile. Whether or not you believe he was the son of God, or if he ever even existed in the first place, Jesus’s story and his teachings are very much inspirational and aspirational for all of us. And so this is why I, myself, personally choose to uphold the observance of Lent. Not only do I find the rituals comforting and familiar, because it’s what I was raised on, but mostly because I feel that there is so much value in the sentiments behind why I choose to observe this specific liturgical event. I think that in this day and age in particular, a lot of us take so much for granted. Even those of us who seemingly have so very little in comparison to others, at least in this country, tend not to realize that we still have so much to be thankful for and it could still be so much worse. Lent is meant to be a time of penitence, self-sacrifice, and deep reflection on suffering, not just the suffering of Jesus on the cross, but suffering in general. Through the mediation and reflection on how Jesus suffered and sacrificed himself for others, for us, we are better able to earn and develop a greater understanding and empathy for others, as well as remind ourselves to be more appreciative. 1. Be Merciful 2. Be Forgiving 3. Seek Goodness 4. Respect Others 5. Be Kind 6. Be Compassionate 7. Be Humble ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

The Reunification of Souls

The basis of polyspiritualism is the idea that there is ONE higher power with which many other powers stem from, including OURSELVES, our own souls. It is the idea that all living things are but smaller extensions of the ONE and therefore our ultimate goal is the REUNIFICATION OF SOULS. This is the polyspiritualists idea of ultimate peace, enlightenment, heaven... eutopia. The closer you are to others the closer you are to HIM, and the closer we all are to that final eutopia of reunification. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

On Suffering and Suicide

In our heart of hearts, in the very deepest of gut levels, we instinctively or spiritually already know the right choices to make. But the right choice is rarely the comfortable or the easy one, especially for those of us whose souls have come close to breaking or been broken entirely through sufferings. Not all suffering is a paying off on Karmic Debt, it doesn’t mean that you were or are a bad person, remember that through suffering comes understanding and through understanding comes enlightenment and advancement in our spiritual journeys. For some, the most exquisite suffering is doled out because they are nearing the end of their journeys for now and it is this suffering that not only tests the merit of their faith, but opens the door to that greatest of all understandings. It is to test one’s faith, one’s merit, fortitude and strength. What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger. Wiser. More empathetic and kind. And for those poor souls who don’t understand or have faith in the reasons or the meaning behind all that suffering, those are the ones who break, who surrender and fail, and those souls are then destined to come back and try it again. We are always given another chance. Another choice. A new or different path. There is some solace to be taken in the idea that those of us who have lost loved ones to such things are getting another chance at a better life or have found their respite or their peace for now. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

On Universal Connection

It is really difficult to have discussions about religion with people these days. It's one of the points I hit on a lot when I'm discussing my mission. I think I surprised a lot of people when I "came out" as religious, much less as a preacher. Considering I've kept most of all that sort of thing very under my hat for pretty much my entire lifeBut you know me, I never do things half assed, and I never make any bold statements about anything until I know for damned sure that this is really something that belongs to me. Is a part of me. And It wasn't so much that I was hiding anything, because I wasn't. And those who are closest to me, the ones who actually really have it in them to pay attention, I don't think were surprised at all. But in general, It just isn't something that anybody ever really pays much attention to, with anybody. I think it's because there is just so much stigma associated with those kinds of labels these days. I've always been a hybrid Catholic-Hindu. Seems like a strange blend but it's what's always worked best for me. For the most part anyway. What one lacks the other makes up for, but I could never ascribe to either just as a stand alone. I need them both. I think that it's very sad that so many people either neglect or feel the need to hide what they believe in. There are however, a lot more spiritual people who don't ascribe to any particular religion but they believe in things like karma, astrology, aliens, ghosts, energies etc. Seems to be the more dominant path our modern society is heading into. The world's top three major religions are Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism, and I believe in that order, but don't quote me. I do know for a fact Islam is number one and has been for a long time. But those of us who have always just referred to ourselves as "oh I'm spiritual not religious", I theorize that would be the more dominant world "religion." I put religion in quotations marks because spiritualism does not equal religion. I think that's the appeal of it for a lot of people. Particularly those cast aside, ostracized, judged, or looked own upon by the other major religions. Religion is like a bad word these days. Leaves a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. I think I've mentioned it before publicly, if not I certainly have addressed this in the memoirs of my own spiritual journey, but it isn't just that a lot of people aren't religious, they're out and out anti-religious. Christ, that's why Satanism and Luciferianism blew up so huge back in the nineties. A whole generation's rebellion against one of the world's most dominating institutions- Christianity. I've always labeled myself as "spiritual" but that always felt a little bit empty. That probably stems from the bit of Catholic and Pagan in me. That need I have for more carefully structured rules, boundaries and rituals. Rituals and group worship in particular. These things are all part of worshiping and practicing one's religion not just because God commands it or whatever. At least not for me. They're just tools that can be used to open yourself up and others to search for and make those much longed for connections we all crave on some level. Whether that connection be internal or external or both. I believe that we are all part of the same song. The same original and universal force or energy that lives in all of us, drives all of us, and connects all of us. And so because of this there really is no completely selfish spiritual gains because even on introspection one is tapping into something greater than themselves but still a part of themself. The true self. The one that all the noise and confusion and stress and psyche drone out and distract us from knowing. But if we're still long enough. If we are open to seeing it. To feeling it. There is so much more inside all of us, so much more that we are all capable of if we only knew it was there to look... to touch upon. I think everybody at least at one point in their lives experiences at least small moments of connection. If we didn't there would be no mercy, no charity in this world. No beauty. Anything that moves us and tugs on our heart strings hits here. It's just sadly most of us these kinds of moments are fleeting. It's too difficult and painful to always be on like that. To allow oneself to feel that kind of love and connection to each other and our world because it's too overwhelming. Too much. Our mind and our bodies physically just cannot contain or maintain that deeper river for too long, and certainly not all at once. It's just too big for these tiny containers we exist in. My need to come out about my spirituality was just as critical and essential to me as any other aspect of who I am. But it felt very similar to how I felt growing up transgender during a time in our history when we didn't have the words or understanding for such a thing. The feelings were there, but without the words for it, how do you explain or describe something like that? It's how I've also always felt about my spirituality. There isn't an existing religion (at least none I've come across in my lifetime's worth of searching for it) that properly fits or defines all of these particular feelings inside of me. And how I can share anything with the world if I don't have the words? I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. I found my words. That's what the Church of Polyspiritualism is all about. Spiritualism as a religion. A more structured, organized way to explore and discover TOGETHER. Spiritualism is spiritualism. It's something you feel, discuss, explore, think about from time to time but it's just a bunch of thoughts, ruminations, hypotheses, debates, and personal philosophies. The major difference of spiritualism vs religion is that spiritualism is something very, deeply personal one holds mostly within oneself. Religion is something that brings people of like sentiments, morals, beliefs, and ideals together. Something that is meant to be shared together, joyfully, out in the light. Not something that's kept quietly in the shadows to oneself. If being spiritual vs being religious were people, spiritual would be the introvert and religion would be the extrovert. I'm still working them all out in the proper order though so be patient with me. I'll get there. As much as I want to be there NOW, I don't think it's time yet. Because of this I am reluctant to share those words with you. It's like a masterpiece painting that's still in the process of its creation. I don't want anybody to look at it until it's complete. Or at least a more discernible picture. I used to always get so anxious watching Bob Ross because his work would begin pretty good, then get better, but then there was always a particular point where things just seemed to explode on the canvas and it looked all a mess and for sure the whole picture was ruined... but then he kept going and slowly it all came together and the pieces started fitting and making sense and by the end when it was complete, it was clear that he'd made all the right decisions during the process, even the obvious mistakes he always managed to incorporate into the final piece so they were no longer mistakes at all but what made the painting what it was in the end. That's how I feel about my written words right now on this subject. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Meditative Epiphany

I did some deep meditation and prayer last night and I wept when I touched something there Then it was like the flood gates opened and I was awash with new understanding It can be rather overwhelming at times for me but definitely a trip that's for sure lmfao It's a very, very rare thing indeed though when I'm brought to actual tears. I can only recall that happening maybe once... that I felt that I actually made contact actually touched that divine light or power or whatever you want to call it Last night though was beyond even that. I touched on that grace. I felt it. And I wept. I wept because it was all the answers to every question ever asked, every sorry and everything beautiful. Everything truth in all it's overwhelming magnificence. and also wept out of that heartache of loss of the unreachable because to touch there... it is heartbreaking not be able to completely reach it and just live there. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

On Sex and Tantra

I feel that sex can be an intensely spiritual experience and any religion that denounces that aspect of our material existences as something bad or meant only for procreation, or a "sin" god forbid, I just can't get down with that I've never felt that with any partner. Because, for me it isn't something I've ever felt comfortable enough with to explore with somebody else. It's a very personal experience for me when I practice it. Also... when I'm with a partner, I'm more focused on them and "us" then you know... I mean I may scream out to god a lot but that's not the same thing lmfao True tantra is a type of prayer and transcendence, and you need to be with a partner that can understand that, not feel creeped out or threatened or like.. .jealous of the fact that you're just using each other to reach god ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Rigidity in Religion

We're ever changing, as is everything else. Rigidity in religion is the number cause of all the dissent and discontent. We need something that is more fluid and able to evolve just as we all do. But still managing to maintain a basic set of core principles that are as endless and ageless as the human spirit itself. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Discipline and Punishment

Both punishment and discipline are seen as necessary acts that are motivated by love, not vengeance or hate. And some punishments even still, may go so far as to be both necessary and merciful. Necessary in order to protect the spirits of those who may be so damaged or broken by those few lost souls who are so damaged and broken themselves. And a mercy because once freed from this material existence these lost souls will have the chance to be reunited with the Source, with their God. Come face to face with Him and touch upon that Universal Knowledge. These are the souls that are reborn with the heaviest of Karmic Debts to be repaid. These are the souls whom must be reborn into suffering so that they themselves can have a better understanding of it. The suffering may partially be a punishment for sins committed in past lives, but it is mostly meant to teach, to help them gain understanding so that they can learn, grow, and advance through that understanding and knowledge. Those with the greatest understanding and knowledge feel no need to do harm unto others because they understand that by hurting others they are only hurting themselves, and hurting themselves they only hurt others because we are all part of the same whole. This also helps to encourage love and peace within themselves, love and peace they can then hopefully shine onto others. For to know God’s unconditional love, acceptance, and forgiveness is to be God’s unconditional love, acceptance, and forgiveness. An EARTHLY REPRESENTATIVE of God’s love, acceptance, and forgiveness. God doesn’t just speak to us, but He speaks through us, through all of us. He speaks through any means necessary in order to try to catch our attention. We only just have to open ourselves up to the idea of this UNIVERSAL TRUTH, to understand. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

Why Polyspiritualism?

POLYSPRITUALISM DEFINED A polyspiritual approach to devotion and worship based on the concept that all gods/deities are all valid because they are all variations/extensions of the SAME power. Making polyspiritualism unique in that it is both monotheistic (believing in one god) and polytheistic (believing in multiple gods). The only other religion that shares this unique quality is Hinduism. POLYSPIRITUALIST DEFINED One who practices polyspiritualism WHY POLYSPIRITUALISM? Plenty of people are spiritual We're all spiritual if you want to get technical, just some people are more open to it then others I don't want you to discount or discriminate against my thoughts and my ideas just because it comes with the title of a "religion" Because that goes against the whole purpose of what Im' trying to achieve here And if that's not something that you're going to be comfortable with or open to then I'd like for you to tell me that now and I'll just keep the particulars and those thoughts and feelings to myself It isn't me that needs support here, it's my ideas that I want supported talked about thought about passed on Because there is so much hate and distrust and just bad, yucky feelings associated with religion and religious people. This has absolutely nothing to do with righteousness condemnation and everything to do with just being free and allowing others to be free in a non judgemental and accepting, peaceable way as long as it isn't hurting anybody.

On Drugs

This is one religion that isn't going to be completely down on all drugs. I mean to an extent where damage comes into play but ... I do things in order to achieve my enlightenment that would may otherwise be frowned upon. But the use of different substances and/or methods in order to attain visions is as ancient a practice in all kinds of religions and spiritualities although, you have to be careful because while you are under the influence of certain substances you are in a more heightened and vulnerable state. And not all "contacts" are truthful or divine. Yet, because of the influence of whatever it is, you may mistake something for something more than it is. OR something it ISN'T. If you catch my drift. That's been a lifelong struggle for me. Learning how to tell the difference between truth and tricks. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.

On Suffering

Well that's just it, like I've said before, many, many times before... without knowing suffering one cannot truly hold the capacity for compassion It's a purification and a hidden blessing... the suffering I mean, you have to believe that to endure it. Give it meaning. I truly believe that the more the suffering and the harder the lifetime, the closer you are to that final completion. ©2017 Rpax, Polyspiritual Ministries Inc.
